‘Who is Who of Saraswat Professionals and Entrepreneurs'

Being an intellectually gifted people, the Saraswats have done well in all spheres of life. Many enterprising members of the community have become successful as professionals, businessmen and industrialists.

This project of compiling a 'Who is Who of Saraswat Professionals and Entrepreneurs' is a first of its kind attempt to recognise their achievements and facilitate better professional interaction. It is inspired by the heroic efforts of the various Saraswat stalwarts to integrate the community. With the advent of free economy, the opportunities have multiplied to tap the potential for creating business relationships between successful Saraswat individuals and chart a new future for the community on a professional platform.

The book will be a well researched and professionally produced compendium and it will prove to be a treasure house of handy ready reference information on successful Saraswat personalities, enterprises, industries and organisations.

The main objective of this project is to enable the Saraswat people to maximise their business potential by tapping opportunities from within the community, and thereby foster economic exchange and nurture growth.

Reach

The book will have wide reach both among the Saraswat community and outside it. 5000 copies of this booklet will be printed and circulated among Saraswat community organisations all over India and abroad. Fee copies will also be distributed to public libraries and various professional bodies like Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Industries Associations etc. A website containing the same information too will be created and maintained for the faster and more efficient dissemination of information.
