The People Behind the Project

The book is being compiled by Sri Kateel Uday Sheshagiri Nayak, a social activist who has been associated with theSaraswat cause for several decades. He is well informed on the community matters and has developed good networking with various Saraswat community leaders and organisations. This places him in a good position to bring out an authentic publication.

The project is promoted by Kodial Khaber, a leading Mangalore based Konkani Fortnightly. In the last three years, it has successfully spread all over India among the Goud Saraswat community. Last year, it also hosted the first ever GSB Yuva Sammellan in Mangalore under the banner of Kodial Khaber and facilitated intellectual exchange among the youth of the community regarding many burning issues faced by the community. Mavinkurve Venkatesh Baliga is the Editor and the Chief Executive of Kodial Khaber.
